Booking Terms and Conditions

To prevent any misunderstandings regarding your booking, please read the following terms and conditions.

Prior to the event

All bookings are provisional until a deposit of £200.00 is received, payable by bank transfer. Once a provisional booking has been made, the deposit is required within 10 days, unless otherwise arranged. If the deposit is not made within the 10 days, the provisional booking will be cancelled. The deposit payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. If however, the date of your function/event changes, we will do our utmost to accommodate you.

The outstanding balance is to be fully paid and cleared in our account 7 days prior to your event. If the balance is not paid on the due date, and your event is then cancelled, a payment of 50% of the final balance will be payable.
Early payments are welcome, but non-refundable if due to cancellation on your behalf.

If a cancellation is received, after the balance has been paid, a refund will not be given.

We will contact you via email, the week prior to your event, to confirm the final details of your booking, unless discussed otherwise.

It is vitally important that we are made aware of any stairs or steps that we may have to deal with, as some of our equipment is heavy. This will have to be discussed in advance in order for us to assess the safety aspect. We require reasonable access to the property/venue, and for this to be obstacle free, with enough space for our 3m x 3m, or 6m x 3m gazebo/s, or, a similar sized covered space to ensure our food hygiene standards are met. If we are working inside, we require a similar sized area with which to work. (see below).
For marquee weddings, a catering tent would be ideal.

Outside Simple Carvery, Hog Roast, BBQ and Buffet: – 3m x 3m/10ft x 10ft
Outside Carvery 2, 2a, 3, 3a, Hog Roast 2, 3, BBQ 2, 2+, 3, 3+, and Cold Buffet 1, 2: – 6m x 3m/20ft x 10ft
Inside Hog roast and Buffet: – 2m x 2m/6ft x 6ft
Inside Carvery 2, 2a, 3, 3a, Hog Roast 2, 3, Small Buffet, Cold Buffet 1, 2: – 5m x 2m/15ft x 6ft

*We have strict guidelines to adhere to with regards to the preparation, and to the serving of food. The pre-arranged serve time, is the time we will work to, and our arrival time at the venue is 4 hours prior to this. Any delay to the pre-arranged serve time will impact on the food we have prepared, so if for any reason there is to be a delay in your schedule on the day, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible.

We typically serve for 1 to 2 hours after the agreed service time, depending upon numbers, menu choice, and requirements.

Vegetarians and special dietary requirements can be catered for as described in our menus, as long as you discuss, in advance, your guests needs, and the numbers involved.

*In order to maintain our reputation, and to avoid any embarrassment, please advise us at least seven days prior to the event, if you wish to alter your guest numbers. If your guest numbers do increase once full payment has been made, we are only a telephone call away. Please do not surprise us with additional guests on the day, as we will only provide for the numbers we have been given. We also need to know, if any arrangements with regards to our working environment is to change.
